Home shopping.

As you probably know I currently have a home shopping business. I haven't had much time to do much Avon stuff lately, though. I really have to find a way to manage my time better. Sigh...
But I still like to offer customers the possibility to shop from their homes.
Some customers are so enthusiastic and they're so friendly and invite you in their house. Meeting all those different women and becoming kind of friends with them is the nicest thing of the job.
Ofcourse it's also nice to earn something from it but until now the earnings haven't been so much that I would be able to quit my job lol Actually it's far from that.Anyway, somehow I still like it. Hubby and I like the products as well, so we order for ourselves as well.
I hope to be able to do Avon parties soon. I've collected a few products already which people than will be able to try out. I wonder how it will go.

I really find it so interesting that people are gladly willing to shop from their homes. I'm also one of those people. There's a guy from Kleeneze who brings a catalogue here now and then and we've ordered something every time.
Also to support him but also because there was something interesting in the catalogue, which I wanted to have. The advantage of home shopping is actually that you don't have to leave your home and have to go walking through shops to come across certain products.
This time I ordered sink & plughole unblocker (I hate it when I wash dishes and the sink is filled with water after a few seconds) backs for earrings(I keep losing those things), a thing to remove fuzz from clothes.(those balls and stuff on your clothes are so annoying) and last but not least ,stain free microwave pots.
All, things that we need. I was especially looking forward to the pots for the microwave. We've had some problems with the electrical cooker, so I had to cook in the microwave a lot of the time and was looking for better and bigger bowls to cook in. So this time I couldn't wait for my order to arrive. Last week my order got delivered. We just had paid a bill so we didn't have much cash left for the week but I didn't want the guy to have to wait for his money either. So I took the products but when I checked them later I was a bit disappointed. The pots were much smaller than I thought. Aaaaaaa...
One thing to pay attention to when you're home shopping is that items can look different as when you see them in the catalogue. And I actually had to pay attention to the dimensions before ordering. But luckily, you have a 30 day guarantee for home shopping as well, so I think I'm going to exchange the pots for another product so our Kleeneze guy doesn't have to lose earnings.

So that's a bit of a disadvantage when it comes to this type of home shopping. If I buy something from a shop, I don't mind bringing it back and get a refund.
But in this case I'm a bit reluctant. Even though for 13 euro... I'm afraid that the potties are way too tiny and I don't think I will ever use them.
But on the other hand,I just feel I'm going to be a bit of a bother to my Kleeneze guy .

What would you do ? Do you home shop and what do you do when the product is not what you thought ? Would you stand on your right to return the product ?

They also had these but I didn't get them because they looked kind of small. lol
I like the colours though. They're probably as small as the

I think I'm going to get something to bake omelettes in, for the microwave.

Hubby will be thrilled because he loves eggs lol
I hope he'll be able to fix the electrical cooker soon, though. If it was working I wouldn't have been in this situation in the first But for now I just got to find the courage to text my Kleeneze guy and ask for an exchange.

And as for me and home shopping. Lesson learned.

A week with the kids

This week Dd 1 had another school break so instead of paying a child minder for 4 whole days I decided to take annual leave. I still had 8 days to take before the end of March so I had to start taking some days off anyway.
I just got an important new task at my work so for that reason I was a bit sorry to take so many days off but my task got covered by my BackUp and I was just really thrilled to be a week off and to be able to spend so much time with the kids again.Yay !
I was really finding it hard that I couldn't see the baby so often so I really needed this week. And I really enjoyed my week off ! Glory to God !
I only took the baby to the creche on Wednesday and Friday afternoon so it won't be strange for her when she has to go back for 4 whole days next week.
I'm really not looking forward to next week but yeah, we'll be okay, I guess.
I didn't get to do many fun things with them, unfortunately.
I only took Dd1 to the playground one day, together with a friend of hers. But just getting to spend time with them was great.
I can't wait for the next week off and hopefully I've learned to drive better then and I can take them to an animal farm and maybe swimming or something else.
I still never took the baby swimming inspite of getting her a really cute little swimsuit months ago. I don't know if it will still fit. She's a bit small for 8 months so maybe.. I hope I can take her for her first swim soon.
Her sister had her first swim when she was 11 weeks old,but I wasn't so busy in that time. Maybe I'll be getting this.

Anyway, I'm really so grateful for this week. Yaaay ! Just wish my days off would never end lol Well, I have to work to earn money so that makes it necessary.
As a matter of fact, next week it will be payday again. Yay !
Have a great weekend all. Gods richest blessings...

Working mum

So I started work on the 11 th last month and am starting to get used to it a little bit.Although I still wish that it was possible for me to work less or to work from home. The baby is still so small.(almost 8 months now) and I just wish I could take care of her more. Now I have to do with one day parental leave per week.
Well, I'm grateful that I have at least that extra day.
And ofcourse I was looking forward a lot -literally counting the days lol-to my first payment. Yay !That was nice ,but with having to pay the rent and other bills and the child minder and so on, it was all gone pretty quickly.
I just got myself a 'modern mum' magazine and just lots of food etc and two skirts from sales for the baby and a toy for dd1.And a 3 euro blouse for church. But hubby got me a nice coat, which I only wore to church because it's too cold to wear it when I need to take the bus home from work.
So today is my weekly day off. Dd1 is off from school so we all got to sleep late except for dad who needed to go to work of course.
It's good to have some extra rest in the middle of the week.
I'm starting work everyday at 7, so I have to wake up really early and am exhausted everyday. After work, I go to the creche around 4,feed the baby and then take her with me and then pick up dd1 and take them home. And then I cook dinner and by that time I haven't got much energy left.
So I hope this day off in the middle of the week will make a difference.
This is the first time I really stayed home with minimal activities, so we'll see.
I just did a little bit of cleaning .I wanted to do more but I needed to give the baby attention as well. She has a runny nose,is coughing, has nappy rash and is teething. Poor girl !I'm really happy I can be home with her today.Praise God !
Wow, only two more days work and then it's weekend again. Yay !
All you working mums, hold on the weekend is almost there.
And everyone a very blessed week !
