HELP... I need a nanny...

I can't believe it's been over three weeks since I wrote in my blog. Things have been so busy that I didn't even get to make time to blog.

A new season for me meant having my own business.
Yes, I already was an AVON representative but becoming an AVON Business Developer is something totally different. There's much more work involved: a lot of admin ,a lot of driving to meet reps and deliver orders and books to the reps and a lot of training, recruiting and searching for ways to grow my business.(since it's the only income I'll be having for now)
It's exciting but can be so consuming at the same time.
I'm still trying to figure out if this is really something for me.
Yes, ir does give me the opportunity to be home while working.
I can do my admin work with one child on my lap. I can take a short break just to change a nappy or make a bottle.
But on the other hand your home and work are all mixed up. You can't leave your work at the office and then come home to focus only on your kids like you do with a normal job. It's like you have your work with you all the time.
Even though I'm planning days off on which I don't work or do as less as possible. Somehow it stays on your mind sometimes.

And ofcourse there's even less time for house work and then there are times that I have to deal with deadlines and the kids have to wait.
So the truth is I can't do it all by myself.
I need a mommy helper, a nanny , a house keeper. Someone to mainly do the house work but also mind the kids when I have to work or at least help with one of them. Someone who can play with them and give them some love and attention when I can't for a little bit of time in a day.

I love searching on internet. If you search well and long enough you will normally find the answer or the information that you are looking for.
So lately I've spent a lot of time surfing and reading on the internet.
Especially for my current 'job' to find tips etc. And I've been searching for a nanny.

It's a strange idea and in a way I wish I didn't have to but I'm grateful that I don't have to work fulltime and put the children in a creche or with a childminder. Maybe one day hubby will earn so much that I won't have to work....We'll see.

But we also want to buy a house one day and so for now I 'm planning to seriously make an effort to get as much as I can out of my role as an Avon Business Developer and with the grace of God, I believe that I will be succesful.

I've found a website online and found a woman we are interested in.
I hope all goes well and that we can come to an agreement.

Then we have to get her room ready and get the girls room done and then I've got myself a mommy helper.

Sigh....

That will be such a relief, because it's hard not to get stressed nowadays.

So wish me luck.

Do you work from home ? Do you have paid or unpaid help ?

I'd love to hear about your experiences.

I still love writing so I'm going to try to squeeze in time to write on here regularly.

Have a great Sunday.

Love,

Nice information, many thanks to the author. It is incomprehensible to me now, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Thanks again and good luck!

Mummy, I need your 'pookie'

It’s World Breastfeeding Week from August 1st to August 7th 2013 and this year’s theme is Breastfeeding Support: Close to Mothers. You can read more about it on http://worldbreastfeedingweek.org . The focus is on community support, particularly in the form of peer-to-peer support. To show support for World Breastfeeding Week, the Irish Parenting Bloggers group is holding a blog march about varied breastfeeding experiences, including experiences with breastfeeding support in Ireland. This inspired me to write a post about breastfeeding as well. My breast feeding journey When I was pregnant with my first child, I decided that it would be a great idea to combine breast- and bottle feeding. But in the hospital they convinced me how healthy and important it was to breastfeed exclusively and then I decided to go that road. I got a breast pump to express milk so my baby could get a bottle with breast milk when I was out and about or for the scarce times that I would leave her

Nevaehs Summer Bucket list

Unfortunately, it seems that this year the Autumn weather has started earlier than last year.  And so I finally wanted to write a blog post to share Nevaehs Summer Bucket list with you. This Summer, we mostly stayed in the Netherlands. We only went to Germany to visit Moviepark Germany for two days. At the beginning of the break, the girls entertained themselves by playing games and watching youtube video’s on their tablets and laptop. This bothered me a bit, so one evening I called them all together to sit down and told them to make a bucketlist for the Summer. The first one to finish was allowed to have the last bit of ice cream. Nevaeh can already write a little bit but I told her that she could draw instead. So she made a bucketlist with 10 items on it. The actual bucket list got lost somewhere but we memorized what was on it and I’m glad to say that she has been able to do all the items on it. So here is Nevaehs Summer Bucket List. 1 Go to the playground W

An interview with ' moi'. Ask Away Friday with Meg from The Patchwork Paisley.

One of my favourite bloggers and my new blog friend Meg, asked me to participate in this new link up called Asked Away Friday hosted by Penny from The Real Housewife of Caroline County . Ask Away Friday is a swap of questions between two bloggers with the purpose to feature another blogger on your blog and to get to know each other better by asking and answering questions. I’m thrilled to be doing this with Meg. Meg is a mom of two, an art teacher, and she has an amazing blog which I know you will love as well. She is very talented and creative and loves DIY which you will notice if you visit her blog. To see the questions that I asked her and her answers, go to her blog The Patchwork Paisley . Below are the answers to the questions that she sent me.  1. What are 3 adjectives you would use to describe yourself?   This is hard. Friendly, honest, caring. 2. If you could travel back in time and live in a different era, where would you go?   Probably t
